WHAT ABOUT THE OLIVE'S PIT?

WHAT ABOUT THE OLIVE'S PIT?

We say "NO WASTE"!

Trying to avoid any waste has always been one of the most important thing to take care of and during the years we've invested much time trying to make that happen: today we are proud to say that at the end of the production every sigle part of the olives are re-used in a totally natural way.

Today we'd like to tell you a little bit about the pit of the olives. What happens to that?
After the separation between the pits and the "solid" parts of the olives ("sansa"), those are used in this way: since it's has a very much important calorie power thanks to the olive oil, during winter time, if we mix those pits with the classic pellet, it helps us to warm up our olive oil mill and also our houses.
Did you know that?

And what happens to the meat of the olives? And what about the water?
Stay tuned!
